A short call to understand your situation and tell you honestly whether we can help. We will tell you if you do not need us, and point you to the free resources if that is the right answer. No obligation and no card details.
Strategy Consultation — 90 minutes, $265
A working session, not a sales call. You bring the problem, we work through it and you leave with a plan and a clear next step. Most clients book this after the free assessment, but you are welcome to go straight to it.
A 90-minute consultation focused on your goals, eligibility, contracting opportunities, and next steps. Includes a concise written summary of key recommendations, typically up to 3 pages.
It can cover any of the following, and we will confirm the focus with you beforehand so the session is spent well:
- Government contracting and vendor registration — SAM.gov, UEI and entity validation, Cal eProcure, local agency portals.
- Certification strategy — California SB, Micro, SB-PW and DVBE, plus federal 8(a) and HUBZone. Which you qualify for, and in what order.
- Government proposals and bid strategy — how to approach RFP and RFI responses, capability statements and evaluation criteria.
- Grants and funding — federal, state and philanthropic programme research and application strategy.
- Research and feasibility — market entry, programme and infrastructure feasibility.
- Business strategy and advisory — growth planning for firms entering public sector markets.
- Nonprofit consulting — formation, 501(c)(3), and building grant readiness.
- International business advisory — cross-border strategy and compliance.

Detailed Strategic Roadmap — $745
For clients who want a deeper written plan. Includes customized research, a phased 6–12 month roadmap, recommended registrations/certifications, contracting pathways, compliance considerations, estimated costs, and implementation priorities.
What to bring
- A clear description of the work or funding you are pursuing, and the deadline if there is one.
- Your current registration status — SAM.gov, Cal eProcure, any certifications held.
- Your entity details: legal name as filed, structure, roughly how many employees and what your last three years of revenue look like. We do not need documents on the call, but the eligibility answer depends on these.
- Any correspondence from a returned or denied application.

How much does a consultation cost?
The Strategy Consultation is $265 for 90 minutes and includes a short written summary of key recommendations. The Detailed Strategic Roadmap is $745. There is also a free 15-minute opportunity assessment if you would rather start there.
What is the difference between the free assessment and the paid consultation?
The free assessment is 15 minutes to establish whether there is a realistic route to what you want and whether we can help. The paid consultation is a full working session where we actually work the problem and you leave with a plan.
Do I have to do the free assessment first?
No. Most people do, but you can book the paid consultation directly if you already know what you need.
What happens after the consultation?
You will have a written plan and a clear next step. If you want us to carry out the work, we will quote it separately. There is no obligation to continue.
Do you work outside California?
SAM.gov registration, federal certification and grant writing are nationwide. Cal eProcure and California state certification are California-specific.
Is the consultation held by video or phone?
