As a GSA Schedule consultant, GERC helps small businesses win and keep a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract. A MAS contract lets federal, state and local agencies buy from you directly, without a full open competition each time. It can run up to 20 years. The offer is long and detailed, and incomplete offers are the main reason for delays. GERC prepares your offer, works with the contracting officer and helps you keep the contract after award.
Is a GSA Schedule right for your business?
A GSA Schedule makes sense when:
- Government agencies already buy what you sell, or want to
- You have at least two years of corporate experience in your line of work
- You have past performance you can document, ideally federal
- Your financial statements show a stable business
- You can realistically sell at least $100,000 through the Schedule within five years
That last point matters. GSA can decline to renew contracts that don’t reach the sales threshold, so we help you judge whether you’re ready before you invest in an offer.
How our GSA Schedule consultants help you get on the Schedule
- Readiness review. We check your experience, past performance, financials and pricing against GSA’s requirements and the right Special Item Numbers (SINs).
- Registrations. We make sure your SAM.gov registration, UEI and FAS ID are active and consistent.
- Offer preparation. We write the corporate experience, quality control and relevant project narratives, and organize past performance evidence.
- Pricing. We help you build your commercial sales practices disclosure and a competitive, defensible price proposal.
- eOffer submission and negotiation. We assemble the offer in eOffer and support you through contracting officer questions and negotiations.
- After award. Catalog upload, sales reporting and fee remittance, modifications and staying above the sales threshold.
GSA requires your own staff to complete the Pathways to Success training and the Readiness Assessment. We walk you through both.

GSA Schedule FAQ
How long does it take to get a GSA Schedule?
GSA says it can take several weeks to several months. A complete, well-prepared offer is the biggest factor in speed.
Does it cost anything to submit a GSA offer?
GSA charges nothing to submit an offer. After award, a small Industrial Funding Fee is built into your prices and paid on sales.
What if my company is less than two years old?
GSA’s Startup Springboard can help some newer companies qualify with other evidence. Otherwise, two years of corporate experience is generally required.
Do I need a GSA Schedule to sell to the government?
No, but many agencies prefer buying from Schedules because it’s faster. It works best alongside direct bids and set-aside certifications.
Can small and certified businesses use the GSA Schedule?
Yes. Agencies can set aside Schedule orders for small, 8(a), WOSB, HUBZone and SDVOSB firms, so your certifications add value on the Schedule too.
Do you work with businesses outside California?
Yes. GERC is based in San Bernardino, and our GSA Schedule consulting serves clients nationwide.
