Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

Global Economic Research Consulting (“GERC”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect here, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form on this site, you give us your name, your email address and the message you write. When you book a consultation through our scheduling link, our scheduling provider collects the name, email address and any details you enter. We use this information to reply to you and to provide the services you ask about.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Jetpack Stats to record aggregate visit data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location and browser type. We use it to understand how the site is used. Cookies may be set by WordPress and by our security plugin to keep the site working and secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to reply to enquiries, to prepare registrations, proposals and applications where you engage us, and to keep the business records we are required to keep. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

When we share information

We share your information only where it is necessary to deliver something you have asked for — for example, submitting a vendor registration to a government system on your instruction — or where the law requires it. Our website host, email provider and scheduling provider process data on our behalf in order to run those services.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the enquiry. We keep client project records for as long as our professional and legal obligations require.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request that we delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
